The Dad Tapes
Two guys. Two cousins. Two best friends. Most importantly, two fathers. Both have vastly different experiences, differing backgrounds, points of views, hobbies and careers. With our box of tapes, we're looking to create and educational and vulnerable platform for parents alike, with both hosts sharing stories, experiences and takes on a subject without it coming across like you, the listener, are being coached on "how you're doing this wrong" or "you need to do it how we tell you to do it". Instead, we share our stories in hopes others can gain from them without being told how to interpret what you hear. We're not experts. We're not preaching. We're just discussing one on one with each other growing our own bond in hopes that our growth will allow others to grow too. These are our Dad Tapes.

Filling Up Your Cup
This week the dads crack open a hazy IPA with a 6.0% ABV called Ultra Cush, from Nesahminy Creek Brewing Company, located in Bucks County, PA. With both dads agreeing this is the best hazy IPA they've had, they actually both agree to rank it in the top 5 of the 50 beers they've had. The show then progresses to the weekly catch-up, where Josh talks about his last week of work for his soon-to-be ex-company and is excited to get back to work for his soon-to-be no-longer ex-company. Sounds pretty complicated but we promise it's not. Meanwhile, Rich updates us on Declan's speech and talks about a very interesting couple he had sat with at work with "crooked butt cheeks and busted lips". You gotta listen to find out...
The show then transitions to An Aware Dad, with a reading from 'The Daily Dad', written by Ryan Holiday. Tonight's reading was titled January 30, They Do Most Of It. Be sure to listen to this week's insightful reading. The show then progresses to the topic of the week.
In a world where we have a hard time telling our loved ones how we feel, for whatever reason, it’s also those moments where we should be telling them things. It’s those words that we have always strived for as a child and even as adults from our friends, our partners and even as far as our employers: you’re enough. Tonight we’re going to discuss the topic of filling others’ cups and the significance of that.
After an exchange of some in-depth conversation and questions, the show progresses to their "Shit-uations". Tonight's Shit-uations has Josh reading blurbs from FML.com.
