The Dad Tapes
Two guys. Two cousins. Two best friends. Most importantly, two fathers. Both have vastly different experiences, differing backgrounds, points of views, hobbies and careers. With our box of tapes, we're looking to create and educational and vulnerable platform for parents alike, with both hosts sharing stories, experiences and takes on a subject without it coming across like you, the listener, are being coached on "how you're doing this wrong" or "you need to do it how we tell you to do it". Instead, we share our stories in hopes others can gain from them without being told how to interpret what you hear. We're not experts. We're not preaching. We're just discussing one on one with each other growing our own bond in hopes that our growth will allow others to grow too. These are our Dad Tapes.

Talk The Talk, Walk The Walk
This week's drink for the Dads is a tasty Pilsner called Lawn Boy that has a 5.6% ABV and brewed by Tonewood Brewing, located in Camden County, NJ. Though both were satisfied with the beer, Josh seems to like it much more than Rich; but both agree it's a decent beer at worst. The show then progresses to the weekly catch-up where Josh talks about his growing hobby for Pal World and seemingly starting to eat up more time in his day than he first planned for. Rich then talks about speech therapy for his son Declan, while also touching base on his work-life.
The show then transitions to An Aware Dad, with a reading from 'The Daily Dad', written by Ryan Holiday. Tonight's reading was titled January 26, Show Then What A Good Marriage Looks Like. Be sure to listen to this week's insightful reading. The show then progresses to the topic of the week.
Hypocrisy; double standards. We’ve all been subject to acting out things we don’t preach. We as parents tend to dictate rather than lead by example. However, our own hypocrisy can be the root to why our littles tend to act in the manners they do. Tonight, join us as we delve into the topic of talking the talk but also walking the walk; what we do to try to correct it and what lines we are willing to move to set the example for our children.
After an exchange of some in-depth conversation and questions, the show progresses to their "Shit-uations". Tonight's Shit-uations has Josh reading blurbs from FML.com.
